STAY ALIVE = 75 m.p.h.

Mandating that automotive products, emphasizing the
engines (power plant/vehicle weight), be designed
to mechanically achieve a 'Top Speed' of = 75 m.p.h.
will generate numerous benefits. Dramatically re-focusing
the efforts of design teams to concentrate on producing
vehicles that will efficiently, & safely allow People to travel.
 

Relationship of Auto Manufactures to Oil Companies?

I'm curious to know if there's co-ownership, to the point of: Conflict of Interest,
between these corporations? If so, the Auto manufactures would have little
incentive to improve gas mileage. Decreasing demand by seriously
& realistically improving mileage performance would essentially increase supply.
The real crisis will exist when the World's petroleum supplies reach maximum capacity,
& the Vehicle Manufactures are truly at the limits, at the 'state of the art' in engine fuel
efficiency, (Like = 60 < 110 miles per gallon); & there's still a shortage of fuel.
 

It's all about Oil, Baby...

From the moment the present Administration took Office, < 9/11/2001, < Iran,
it's all been about driving-up the $ of Oil. Today, close to $75 per barrel.
Think back to the later days of the Clinton Administration... The Dot.Com boom.
The $ of a barrel of Oil was around $8 a barrel, & speculators were selling it short
to a possible bottoming out at = $5 a barrel. Only Saudi Arabia felt that the could still
make a profit at that price. I suspect that the nefarious meeting which took place between
Osama Bin Laden, & the Arabian Princes, the now famous 'Hunting Excursion' which the
CIA had on Satellite, was prepared to fire Tomahawks on the Camp, when Clinton
refused to give the order; was about the 'Oil Crisis'. Osama offered a solution.
Have a company of religious zealots carry out a major terrorist attack on the US.
The main goal- reverse the downward trend in Oil revenues. The rest is history.
As reveled in the Movie: Fahrenheit 911, George Bush, Jr had a failed Oil business. He
was apparently bailed-out my Middle Eastern Oilmen. Since than he's been beholdin' to
them. Everything his Administration has done (Actually NOT done. It's a DO NOTHING
Administration.) has been calculated to drive up the $ of oil to what it is today. Apparently
they've gained too much of a 'good thang', as the $ exceeds = $60 a barrel, it may have
a detrimental long term effect on the Oil Market; so he's begun to behave as though
he's on the consumer's side. He's not. I feel that in part, George Jr. wanted to 'Get Saddam'
to prove something to his Dad. He in part took this Country to War for personal reasons.
But for the most part, I suspect that they actually did not expect to win the 1st election!
When they did, it was a major case of putting the 'Foxes on guard of the Hen house!'.
They election put a bunch of Crooks in charge of the 'Worlds Most Powerful Country',
including our military. With the invasion of Iraq,
they were able to inundate the military/weapons industry with $1,000,000,000's.
Send the $ of Oil soaring. Bush got his wish to 'Get Saddam',
& make his Homies wealthy beyond belief! Wolfiwitz plan to invade Iraq was a
'Get Rich Scheme', that was just too good an opportunity to be true.
 An opportunity they just could not refuse; &
they were in a position to actually do it! They were: 'In The White House' Wow!
We know the 'Weapons of Mass Destruction' rational was a hoax... The REAL
Reason for invading Iraq, as from the afore mentioned motivations, was that Saddam, & Iraq
was defying the U.N. sanctions, & OPEC by selling un allocated amounts of
Oil on the Black Market, contributing to the Oil Glut, & contributing to the downward
trend in the $ of Oil. OPEC, & The Presidents Buddies wanted him stopped!
Now think back to the Regan Presidency. The 'Iran vs. Iraq War'. 1,000,000's of Iranians,
& Iraqis were killed. The US was supporting Iraq. Than the 1st Gulf War. After the truce was
signed, Saddam's troops attacked & defeated both Shiite, & Kurdish Rebel forces. Fighters
whom apparently felt they had a green light, & would be supported by the US Forces. Only
after they were annihilated did the US enact the: 'No Fly Zones'.
It was felt that although un-savory
Saddam was the only Leader able to keep the Country from falling in chaos, & anarchy.
Saddam was the 'Lil Dutch Boy with his Thumb stuck in the Dike'! They, (The Administration)
knew this. Bush's Dad knew this.
So, why did they conjure-up the false pretenses to go to War?
It's like my Grampaw Gus always used to say, "When things don't make sense,
there's a Con in the Works!" Yeah, several of 'em.
They have now gotten US in a predicament which we may not get out of.?! As I understand,
(And I may not have all the facts straight, but it's the thoughts that count- bear with me...)
there are 3 major oil pools in Iraq. 1 in the North, under Kirkuk, & 2 in the South.
1 near Basra, the other in the Southwest along the Kuwait Boarder.
 Purportedly, the Kuwaitis are: *Angle Drilling,
to the Southwestern Iraqi Pool & extracting (thieving) Oil from under the
Kuwait/Iraq Boarder.
This is a rumor, but it makes sense as this was Saddam's main reason for
invading Kuwait in the early '90's. He accused them, & said he had hard evidence
that they were 'Angle Drilling', into & stealing Oil from Iraq.
I seriously doubt that the State Dept. will raise this as an issue though
as Our Troops are stationed on Kuwait Soil, & for all practical purposes, there in no Iraq
now. , it's putting more crude on the market, so if this rumor is true,
were sort of benefiting from it.
The Battle for Kirkuk is in the initial stages. The Kurd want to form the independent
State of Kurdistan. The Iranians have sent troops to that boarder region, & at this
moment, firing artillery shells into Northern Iraq. The Syrians are moving troops to it's
adjacent boarder. Shiite Militias are infiltrating, as well as Sunni Militias figuring if their
going to acquire any Oil wealth, this is the place to get it. The Turks have amassed a large
Military Force just above the Boarder.
In the Southeast area (Basra region) it's purported that Iran may have infiltrated as
many as 1,000,000 loyalist. It's fairly obvious that Iran is beefing-up it's Military
defenses so as when the opportunity becomes acute, they'll annex that Oil rich
section of Iraq and declare final victory of the Iraq vs. Iran War! A victory
handed to them by the Collation Forces; (Essentially, We've won the Iraq vs. Iran War
on behalf of the Iranians.)  at this point. The only way the US may pull out of Iraq
is to 1st, destroy Iran's Military's ability to invade Iraq; which means annihilated it's
Army, Weapons,& Military equipment. Of course, it's ability to deploy the nuclear
weapons it's scrambling to deploy so as it may carry out it's invasion of Iraq with
some impunity. To that end, apparently Our Air Force is spending $1,000,000,000's
on up-graded weapon systems, including speeding up the time table & manufacture
of the 'Raptor Fighter Jet Aircraft', a 'Scram Jet' cruise missile capable of speeds
of = 7,500 m.p.h. And, a 10 Ton Bunker Buster Bomb, modeled after the 1st Bunker
Busters which were built out of salvaged Artillery Canon Gun Barrels; these new
heavy weight Bunker Busters are being produced form Naval Gun barrels salvaged from
de-commissioned Battle Ships! And, if they do drop these, their gonna need dozens!
The other, nuclear option, may be the only realist method of destroying
Iran's nuclear facilities, & it Military. Apparently, there will be a 'test'
The only other choice is to pull out of Iraq & the chips fall where they may.
Which means, Iran will invade the Southeast Region of Iraq, or at least,
send in troops to 'stabilize it & protect the Shiites', occupy it, than eventually
annex it. The rest of the Country will also be fought over by the neighboring
Countries like a pack of wolves over a deer carcass. At least that's how it
is portrayed. I suspect though that behind the scene, & the nightly news, there's
a very great affection for this newly elected Iranian President by Petrol invested
business people all around the globe. Since this Guy has assumed office, & begun
his 'crazy talk' (Crazy like a fox!), & Iran has openly displayed it's "secret" nuclear
program, defied the UN, Oil has soared from around = $58, < $75 per barrel. Since
Iran is said to produce somewhere between = 4,000,000 < 6,000,000 barrel a day,
it don't take a math wizard to figure out that this ploy is earning them, & by-the-way,
all the Oil producing nations of the World = $X,000,000,000's! US Oil Companies
are reporting record profits!
Critics of the Bush Administration's planning of the Iraq
War site that there was no plan for an exit strategy. Guess what-
That was their Plan; an opened ended conflict with no end in sight!
A few months ago I was watching an economist on a PBS program who calculated
that if the $ of a barrel of Oil stayed above $70 a barrel for very long, it would provoke
a world wide recession. It seems like the Republicans always provoke a recession during
their 2nd term; the Rich get Richer, & the Poor get Poorer.
Bush claims were in a period of economic growth. Totally false. Since his taking office,
the $ of Gold has almost doubled. A Dollar is now worth less than a Canadian Dollar was back then.
If this is beginning to feel like the Day after a Night of drinking a jar of shine, sit back
& watch. The Journalist are predicting that the Democrats will win back the Congress,
& the Presidency next major National election. I'm not so sure. Even if they do, it's
just gonna be the flip side of the same bum penny. These days, were winding-up with politicians. Not Leaders. Their professional ass-suckers, & for the most part cow to the most neurotic bunch of the voting population. Their also, not likely to want to upset an established industry like the Automotive Industry, which is why, up to this point, I've had no response from the politicians I've contacted, even over the obvious sense limiting top speed of vehicles to = 75 mph by a mechanical device makes. The Country is fairly static, &
polarized along Party Lines . Citizens vote their prejudice's, & for irrational
religious, & 'moralist' reasons. What killed the Democrats last time around was: 'Same
Sex Marriages, & images of Same Sex married couples smooching on national TV
just before the election- brought the 'Moral Majorities' out in full force! I never figured
that a young Gal named: Monica would have such a grave impact on World history
in my Lifetime. I never figured that a supposedly 'educated' citizen would be 'duped' by such an obvious bunch of cons. And, I never figured that in this Country, based upon personal Freedom, curtailing those Freedoms, cruel & unusual punishment for private acts, would be the order of the Day. We're living in a 'Dumbocracy'; rule by mass morons! 

*Angle Drilling: The illegal practice of drilling an Oil well under the boarder
of a property with the explicit intent of extracting (thefting) Oil from
adjacent Property.
